Principal
Matt Gentile earned a Bachelor of Urban Planning from Southwest Texas State University in 2000, a Master of Finance MLERE from Texas A&M University Mays School of Business in 2002 and an MBA from the University of Florida Hough Graduate School of Business in 2009.
Matt began his career in commercial real estate as a land acquisition associate for a national home builder in 2002. His focus on the manufactured home and RV community industry began a few years later when he joined GE Capital’s MH/RV community financing group, helping them expand with their first Florida office. Over the next 7+ years he worked with countless investors, operators and brokers helping them or their clients secure the best debt and equity sources for their investments, as well as provide consulting services for a variety of commercial real estate projects.
In 2012 Matt joined the established boutique mortgage banking firm, Monroe & Giordano, and continued to offer his expertise in the MHC and RV industry — first as director of underwriting and now as principal/partner. Matt specializes in MH community and RV community financing but also maintains a strong knowledge of self-storage, retail, and marinas — having closed over $1 billion in loan volume over the past 10 years with M&G — but has worked on well over $5 billion in transactions over the past 20 years.
Matt is a current board member of the Florida Manufactured Housing Association, a member of the Manufactured Housing Institute and currently holds a Florida Real Estate License.
Matt is a native Texan who has called Tampa, FL home for the past 15+ years with his wife and 3 young children. When not working or spending time with family, Matt enjoys live sporting events, traveling and marathon training.
Principal
Michael Giordano earned his degree in Finance from The University of South Florida. He has worked as an accredited community manager, and as a real estate developer he oversaw over 500,000 sq. ft. of construction. He worked for over 25 years at M&G Investments and became their Florida Southeast VP of Development.
Michael is a founding partner of Monroe & Giordano, LLC and has established the company as a boutique mortgage banking firm with projects across the nation.
Associate
Logan Giordano earned his bachelor’s in real estate and finance from Florida State University in 2018 and his master’s in finance from the University of Tampa in 2021.
He has held multiple roles with Forge Capital Partners and Generation Income Properties, ranging from research analyst to acquisition analyst. He now assists Monroe & Giordano in all their specialized industry roles.
